Proof That Praying Works!

A list that will prove the amazing impact that praying can have on your life!

The following list will prove that praying for help can be one of most powerful and life-changing experiences a person can have! If you don’t believe in God or Jesus at all, I get it. Faith can be a really hard thing to have, but if you give them the benefit of the doubt, you won’t regret it! And you don’t have to give up your religion to ask Jesus for help either. He loves people from all religions and will help anyone who asks Him for help. When you pray for help, your path will end up crossing with the help and guidance you need.

Starting each day with a simple prayer of "Jesus, please guide me and help me to do God’s Will with all things" has had the following amazing results in my life:

• My parents couldn’t afford college so I wasn’t going to be able to attend. I ended up going to college for free—Twice! (Both my Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree were paid for) 

  
  

• A job as a salad girl (making minimum wage) opened the door to my free ticket to college.

  
  

• My ex-husband and I started out in such a tough financial position that we couldn’t qualify for an apartment and had to ask a family member to ask a friend to rent to us. Through praying and asking Jesus for help, we ended up in a lifestyle of nice homes, world travel and private schools (Bonuses, raises and new job opportunities all happened precisely when we needed them)

  
  

• When we couldn’t find a house that we could afford, I prayed for help. Shortly afterwards, my cousin called and felt bad for us so she drove through a neighborhood and asked someone she saw walking on the sidewalk if she knew of any houses coming onto the market. The house that the person pointed out turned out to be the one we purchased (Before it was listed so no one could outbid us on it). I know the timing of my cousin’s call and her crossing paths with the woman on the sidewalk weren't a coincidence.

  
  

• Years later during a job relocation, we prayed for help getting a house again and ended up finding a short sale by a bank. Not only was the house selling well below market value, but it was a dream house that was bigger and better than anything we could have afforded at regular price.

  
  

• When the doctor was about to admit me into intensive care due to a serious infection and escalating fever and heart rate that were getting to dangerous levels, my family prayed for me and both of the levels started to drop. I ended up not needing intensive care.

  
  

• During not just one pregnancy but two of them, I happened to be in the doctor’s office just as my cervix started to dilate so the doctor was able to rush me into emergency surgery, which saved the pregnancies and saved my children’s lives.

  
  

• During one of the high-risk pregnancies, I had a very serious infection at the same time that my baby did. My ex-husband and I held hands and said the prayer of our lives. By the next morning, both my son and I were showing significant improvement.

  
  

• When I was pregnant with my daughter, I didn't have just one successful emergency surgery during the pregnancy, but two of them!

  
  

• When I was on bed rest and wasn’t able to find someone to help me, I prayed to Jesus for help and ended up talking to a neighbor who told me about a mission lady who was in between assignments and could help.

The list goes on!

Jesus is real and His help is real, too! Praying really does work! Blessing and miracles really do happen! Praying each morning to ask for help, guidance and to do God's Will (this is key) can truly change your life in amazing ways!
